Senior Data Science Consultant, Insurance

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation, advancement, and validation of simulation models, including discrete-event, agent-based, system dynamics, or hybrid types.

• Convert business or operational challenges into effective simulation frameworks.

• Perform scenario analyses, what-if assessments, optimization tasks, and risk evaluations.

• Analyze simulation outcomes and extensive datasets, providing actionable insights to both executive and technical teams to facilitate decision-making.

• Advise business users on model assumptions, constraints, and best practices.

• Mentor and coach junior consultants while reviewing their modeling work for accuracy and rigor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or a bachelor’s degree with an equivalent combination of relevant education.

• A minimum of 10 years of pertinent professional experience with transferrable skills.

• Proven experience in developing data pipelines for simulations and data science models.

• Background in nurturing a data scientist community culture.

• Mastery of tools such as SQL, Python, AWS, DataRobot, AnyLogic, and other simulation applications.

• Extensive knowledge in AI, data mining, data evaluation, and expertise in assembling a comprehensive and effective modeling dataset.
