Senior Data Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the product strategy for the Enterprise Data Platform in collaboration with the Engineering team.

• Assess and quantify the platform's value by analyzing current challenges and future requirements.

• Realize the vision for the Enterprise Data Platform and Hub by creating a practical roadmap.

• Oversee and advance a multi-quarter Data Platform roadmap that balances foundational initiatives with impactful use cases.

• Facilitate machine learning and data science capabilities on the platform by ensuring it meets model development and deployment requirements.

• Transform cross-functional requirements into reusable capabilities for the platform.

• Convert platform needs into precise technical specifications.

• Lead cross-workstream execution for platform projects.

• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering and Architecture teams.

• Deliver, assess, and refine platform capabilities.

• Enhance user adoption and monitor outcomes related to platform utilization.

• Serve as the authoritative expert on our Enterprise Data Platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Data or Analytics Products, with a strong preference for direct Data Product Management experience.

• At least 7 years of experience working in or closely with Data Engineering, Data Platform, or Analytics teams.

• Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end data or platform products.

• Extensive knowledge of data warehousing and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Experience using BI tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, Looker).

• Experience collaborating with Data Science and/or Machine Learning Engineering teams.

• Demonstrated ability to create and implement multi-quarter product plans.

• Strong project and program delivery capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted analytics or natural language query tools.

• Willingness to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team events, including Together Weeks.
