Senior Data Platform Compliance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives related to data platform compliance.

• Oversee and maintain cloud environments along with compliance obligations.

• Apply best practices for data governance and API security measures.

• Create CI/CD pipelines for services associated with the data platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a Senior Data Platform Compliance Engineer role or a comparable position.

• Strong background in cloud technologies (AWS EKS and/or Azure AKS) and Kubernetes (cluster management).

• Proficient with Terraform, CI/CD, testing frameworks, and scripting languages (Python or Go).

• Familiarity with cybersecurity (APIs), monitoring tools (Splunk), Active Directory, and data governance/compliance standards.

• Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively, troubleshoot issues, and demonstrate attention to detail.
