Senior Data Modeller, AI and Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Utilize tools and methodologies to comprehend and analyze the processes for collecting, updating, storing, and exchanging data.

• Establish and apply standards, tools, best practices, and relevant development methodologies for data modeling and design.

• Create, assess, and sustain data models.

• Conduct data analysis tasks to gather data requirements and depict them through data model visualizations.

• Oversee the lifecycle of the data model from requirements gathering to design, implementation, and maintenance.

• Collaborate closely with data engineers to develop optimal physical data models.

• Identify opportunities for leveraging data to enhance business operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10 years of pertinent experience.

• 5+ years of practical experience in data modeling.

• Familiarity with data modeling tools such as Erwin Data Modeler, ER Studio, and Toad.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Basic understanding of ETL processes, including data mapping and transformation.

• Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

• Optional skills in data visualization.

• Understanding of data quality and data profiling techniques.

• Degree in computer science or a related field.

• Experience in Agile delivery environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Expertise in software development best practices.

• Excellent skills in debugging and optimization.

• Experience with enterprise-level solution implementations.

• Ability to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience throughout the complete solution delivery lifecycle.
