This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Manage and enhance the data platform (Databricks, Unity Catalog, data lake), ensuring optimal availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee the complete data lifecycle — ingestion, ETL/ELT, and enablement — to support billing and adoption pipelines with reliability and integrity.
• Establish and uphold data best practices: Governance, Modeling, Quality, Security & Privacy, Lineage, and Accessibility.
• Define the team’s roadmap and prioritize requests, balancing the competing needs of both technical and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document precise data requirements and validate products with end users.
• Track metrics and KPIs to inform decisions and promote continuous improvement of data products.
• Facilitate the integration of AI into the team’s workflows to enhance performance.
• Lead and nurture a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and analytics specialists — focusing on attracting, retaining, and mentoring talent.
• Ensure the integrity, reliability, and efficiency of billing and adoption pipelines.
• Identify opportunities to scale and optimize data operations.
• Previous experience in roles such as Data/Analytics Manager, Data Engineering Lead, or Tech Lead with a focus on people management.
• Proficiency in at least two domains: Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, or AI.
• Extensive experience with modern data architecture (lakehouse, dimensional/medallion modeling) and the entire data lifecycle.
• Practical knowledge of Databricks, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Spark/PySpark, SQL, and workflow orchestration.
• Familiarity with event streaming technologies (Kafka or similar) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business audiences, a product-oriented mindset, and a focus on measurable impact.
• Nice-to-haves / Preferred qualifications:
• Direct experience with CI&T Flow or AI agent ecosystems.
• Experience with multi-tenant data platforms and billing/usage-based models.
• Understanding of Data Security and Privacy; familiarity with LGPD, GDPR, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
• Experience with MLOps and relevant certifications (Databricks, cloud, or product).
