Senior Data Governance Engineer, Quality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Implement and maintain the Data Governance platform using Informatica CDGC and AXON.

• Configure and manage data quality rules, policies, and stewardship workflows in CDQ/IDQ.

• Integrate the data catalog with multiple sources (databases, ERP, CRM, cloud, and Databricks) through scanners and catalog sources.

• Oversee the governance of the Databricks Lakehouse, aligning lineage and classification of Unity Catalog with CDGC.

• Collaborate with data owners and business stakeholders to define standards and data quality rules.

• Ensure traceability, end-to-end lineage, and regulatory compliance of data assets.

• Utilize CLAIRE to assist in the definition of rules and the classification of metadata.

⛳️ Requirements

• Between 7 and 12 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or similar roles.

• Proven experience in enterprise implementations of data governance and quality (hands-on, not just advisory).

• Proficiency in Informatica IDMC: CDGC, CDQ/IDQ, and AXON (mandatory).

• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog (cataloging, lineage, and classification of assets).

• Experience integrating governance tools with privacy solutions such as OneTrust.

• Knowledge of frameworks and standards such as DAMA-DMBOK and GDPR.

• Advanced English (B2/C1) is mandatory, with the ability to interact with technical teams and international stakeholders.

• Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (ICP) certification is mandatory.
