
Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake, CDP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design and maintain data models in Snowflake that facilitate customer engagement, reporting, and audience activation.
• Construct and enhance customer-level data structures for segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing.
• Convert customer engagement requirements into scalable models in Snowflake and schemas that are ready for Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
• Develop and uphold pipelines that synchronize customer data with Braze, Hightouch, and various downstream tools.
• Collaborate with identity resolution, consent frameworks, event tracking, and the unification of customer profiles.
• Assist clients in creating comprehensive customer 360 views and enhancing audience readiness across multiple channels.
• Improve Snowflake's performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability when handling large datasets.
• Ensure the quality, governance, and compliance of customer-facing data models.
• Work closely with CRM, CDP, analytics, and marketing teams to validate that data supports business objectives.
• Extensive expertise in Snowflake, covering architecture, modeling, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Significant experience with customer data platforms, identity resolution, and the design of customer profiles.
• Background in supporting CRM and customer engagement platforms, including Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Bloomreach, or Adobe Campaign.
• Strong understanding of customer events, user attributes, audience segmentation, and lifecycle marketing applications.
• Familiarity with reverse ETL tools like Hightouch or Census.
• Proficient in SQL and dbt, with the capability to create scalable, customer-centric data models.
• Knowledge of consent management, privacy frameworks, and governance of customer data.
• Experience with multi-channel customer engagement data across email, push notifications, SMS, web, and app platforms.
• Ability to explain complex customer data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Preferred: Experience in implementing or supporting Customer Data Platforms such as Segment, mParticle, Tealium, or RudderStack.
• Familiarity with predictive modeling, AI-driven segmentation, or propensity scoring.
• Experience with customer datasets from loyalty programs, retail, QSR, financial services, or subscription models.
• Understanding of Braze data structures, Currents, custom events, and Connected Content.
