Senior Data Engineer, Scala, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance large-scale data pipelines, prioritizing performance and dependability;

• Create streaming and batch processing solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and utilization;

• Work closely with architects and developers to establish technical standards and best practices;

• Maintain observability, version control, and data integrity in production environments;

• Assist in modernization and process automation efforts within the team;

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience as a Data Engineer;

• Expertise in Scala, Spark (Streaming), and Python;

• Practical understanding of distributed architectures and microservices;

• Familiarity with AWS services, including Lambda, SNS, SQS, and Glue;

• Analytical approach with an emphasis on efficiency and scalability;

• Experience with ScyllaDB (or Apache Cassandra);

• Knowledge of Kafka;

• Background in data environments centered around digital products and teams;
