Senior Data Engineer – Python, FICO DMPS, FICO DM, Blaze Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance solutions using Python.

• Engage in the development, configuration, and maintenance of business rules in FICO DMPS and FICO DM / Blaze Advisor.

• Support the integration among systems, decision engines, databases, and corporate applications.

• Conduct analysis, processing, validation, and transformation of data to support the developed solutions.

• Ensure adherence to best development practices, guaranteeing that deliveries meet quality, efficiency, scalability, and maintainability standards.

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of decision rules, business policies, and automated workflows.

• Participate in technical and functional refinements, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment of stories with project needs.

• Help build well-defined user stories, facilitating development for the technical team.

• Contribute to the AS-IS and TO-BE design, documenting current and future processes, identifying technical debts, risks, and improvement opportunities.

• Develop refined and approved stories, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to technical standards.

• Perform testing, validations, and support for the homologation of rules and implemented solutions.

• Collaborate with data, technology, and business stakeholders to ensure that solutions align with best practices and project needs.

• Propose continuous improvements in processes, architecture, performance, quality, and team productivity.

• Support the sustainability of existing solutions by investigating issues, identifying root causes, and proposing corrections or enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with Python.

• Experience with FICO DMPS.

• Experience with FICO DM / Blaze Advisor.

• Knowledge in the development, maintenance, and parameterization of business rules.

• Experience with decision engines, rule automation, or decision platforms.

• Solid understanding of programming logic and best development practices.

• Experience in data analysis, processing, and validation.

• Knowledge in system integration, APIs, files, databases, or corporate applications.

• Mastery of best practices in versioning, testing, code review, and delivery quality.

• Experience in agile squads and agile methodologies.

• Ability to identify technical debts, improve processes, and evolve existing solutions.

• Advantage: knowledge in data engineering, pipelines, cloud, CI/CD, or development automation tools.

• Advantage: experience with the application of AI in development, such as GitHub Copilot, prompt engineering, and automated code review.
