Senior Data Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

• Comprehending business requirements

• Developing code and executing the suggested solutions

• Designing data pipelines, along with versioning and change management

• Handling the complexities associated with versioned data pipelines

• Constructing and sustaining ETL processes

• Implementing logging and instrumentation for pipelines and services

• Ensuring the integrity of data quality

• Possessing strong debugging abilities to analyze and rectify defects in data processing

• Must be an effective team player and an excellent collaborator

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven expertise with at least 3+ years of experience in a data engineering role or a similar position

• Advanced skills in SQL and experience with relational databases

• Strong proficiency in Python with practical experience using Panda, NumPy, and other data-centric libraries

• Significant experience in writing ETL and pipeline code

• Experience in gathering data from various sources and integrating it based on business requirements

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services

• GCP: Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Dataform, etc.

• AWS: ECS, Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.

• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and workflows

• Knowledge of Terraform

• Proficient in the English language.
