This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for the ingestion, storage, and processing of substantial data volumes within Microsoft Fabric.
• Enhance and evolve ETL/ELT solutions and integrations across various People systems and sources, reinforcing existing implementations.
• Create and implement data quality and observability strategies within the Fabric ecosystem to ensure the accuracy and reliability of People metrics.
• Scale OneLake by establishing layer standards, naming conventions, and a data strategy that supports growth and ongoing maintenance.
• Oversee the data lifecycle, guaranteeing integrity, traceability, and accessibility for consumption through Power BI, reports, and APIs.
• Enforce governance and security/LGPD practices, including RBAC, auditing, anonymization/masking, and special handling for sensitive data.
• Optimize performance and scalability to ensure sustainable deliveries.
• Serve as a Senior individual contributor with direct management responsibilities, elevating team standards and engaging in innovation and area-building initiatives.
• Proficient in writing optimized SQL queries to address a diverse array of challenges.
• Practical experience with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Data Factory, Spark, and notebooks (Python/PySpark), as well as shortcuts.
• Development experience in data-oriented programming languages, particularly Python and PySpark.
• Familiarity with distributed processing and parallelism, especially with Spark.
• Experienced with version control and development workflows using Git (GitHub), including PRs, code reviews, and collaboration best practices.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices such as documentation, testing/validation, coding standards, automation, and maintainability.
• Background in data architecture and modeling (e.g., Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Mart) and in creating datasets for analytical use.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment with a sense of ownership, proactivity, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Responsible and mature in handling confidential or sensitive data (LGPD), including confidentiality and access controls.
• Skilled in prioritizing tasks in uncertain situations and managing multiple workstreams with organization and clarity.
