This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Design, develop, and sustain the reporting data warehouse utilizing a layered architecture: bronze, silver, gold, semantic, and governance.
• Create robust ELT/ETL pipelines from various data sources including ERP, CRM, production, budget, quality, catalog, and organizational data.
• Construct and refine SQL transformations for daily facts, conformed dimensions, KPI views, cohort analytics, client 360 views, alerting views, and operational dashboards.
• Ensure the maintenance of semantic views utilized by Power BI reporting, guaranteeing that business users access only authorized reporting layers.
• Execute data quality checks, freshness validation, reconciliation tests, and SLA monitoring.
• Facilitate daily and hourly refresh pipelines, incorporating incremental refresh logic for operational order and production data.
• Establish governance, role-based access, and secure data access patterns for group, lab, clinic, owner, and user-level visibility.
• Collaborate with BI developers to confirm that Power BI reports are supported by clean, stable, and well-documented semantic datasets.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to validate KPI definitions, reporting grain, ownership logic, and the actionability of alerts.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data lineage, metric definitions, pipeline runbooks, and acceptance tests.
• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Familiarity with data warehouse schemas: bronze, silver, gold, semantic, governance.
• Experience with Power BI as the reporting and dashboarding layer.
• Knowledge of Power BI Apps, Deployment Pipelines, and Paginated Reports.
• Integration of Power Apps / Power Automate for action writeback.
• Experience with ETL/ELT ingestion from ERP, CRM, production, budget, quality, catalog, and organizational systems.
• Understanding of data quality SQL assertions and acceptance testing.
• Ability to manage scheduled daily and hourly refresh pipelines.
• Experience with role-based access and secure semantic reporting views.
• **Nice-to-have:**
• Background in healthcare operational reporting.
• Experience in building management cockpit, executive KPI, churn risk, client retention, or operational alerting datasets.
• Familiarity with supporting action-tracking workflows or writeback patterns utilizing Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, or SharePoint staging.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, Dagster, Prefect, cron-based jobs, or cloud-native schedulers.
