Senior Data Engineer – Microsoft Azure Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop contemporary data architectures utilizing the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

• Create data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines (both batch and near real-time).

• Design and oversee ETL/ELT processes.

• Ensure the quality, reliability, and governance of data.

• Construct analytical layers for use in BI, analytics, and AI projects.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to transform requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Recognize opportunities for ongoing improvements in architecture and data flows.

• Foster the growth of a data-driven culture within the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Familiarity with Python or Scala.

• Understanding of dimensional and analytical data modeling.

• Experience in constructing data pipelines in the cloud.

• Knowledge of data orchestration.

• Ability to convert business challenges into technical solutions.

• Strong communication skills and capability to engage with non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with Azure Data Lake (ADLS).

• Proficient in Azure Data Factory.

• Familiar with Azure Synapse Pipelines.

• Knowledgeable in Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Experience with Azure SQL / SQL Server.

• Integration experience with APIs and various data sources.

• Preferred: experience with Databricks.

• Preferred: understanding of Lakehouse / Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

• Preferred: experience with Power BI (modeling and consumption).

• Preferred: experience dealing with large volumes of data.

• Preferred: knowledge of or prior experience in agribusiness.
