Senior Data Engineer – Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance data solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric.

• Create and oversee data pipelines, lakehouses, warehouses, and analytics workloads.

• Construct semantic models, ontologies, and knowledge representations tailored for business applications.

• Implement data engineering solutions with Python and contemporary data frameworks.

• Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable data architectures.

• Ensure data quality, governance, metadata management, and semantic consistency across data assets.

• Provide support for advanced analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise data initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Data Engineering and Analytics.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Power BI, and OneLake.

• Familiarity with IQ/Ontologies, Semantic Modeling, Knowledge Graphs, or similar semantic technologies.

• Advanced Python programming capabilities for data processing and automation tasks.

• Comprehensive understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and cloud-native analytics platforms.

• Experience engaging directly with business stakeholders and working in enterprise-scale data ecosystems.

• Prior experience with knowledge graphs, metadata management, and semantic search solutions is preferred.

• Exposure to AI/GenAI-enabled data platforms is preferred.

• Microsoft Fabric and Azure certifications are preferred.
