Senior Data Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with AI team members to implement and manage data pipelines and machine learning tasks.

• Provide ongoing support for the deployment of Python-based ML pipelines and carry out data engineering activities to facilitate AI/ML capabilities.

• Communicate results effectively to a varied audience through presentations or written reports.

• Assist in architectural leadership, offering technical support and advisory services to ensure that identity management system technologies are integrated and comply with relevant security standards.

• Support executives engaged with senior-level officials at a publicly accessible Federal agency, delivering subject matter expertise in security architecture and other critical domain areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in Data/ML Engineering.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Must be eligible to acquire an active Secret clearance/T1 background investigation.

• Proficient in ETL processes, data labeling, and data preparation.

• Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies: Cloudera, DataBricks, Snowflake, NiFi, Python, SQL, Kafka.

• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying data solutions within classified AWS cloud environments up to IL6+.

• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining data architecture and services for AI/ML, including the operationalization and upkeep of AI/ML models in a production setting.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in accessible terms.
