Senior Data Engineer – Experimentação

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Capable of proposing the most suitable architecture for data pipeline creation based on a predefined problem (e.g., lambda architecture, kappa architecture, ETL, Scraping, etc.);

• Possesses advanced knowledge of cloud computing and can advocate for the best infrastructure components for a given problem (e.g., Kubernetes, VMs, ECS, etc.);

• Able to identify and suggest optimizations for performance issues at any stage of the data architecture (e.g., Spark clusters, Kafka clusters, databases, etc.);

• Capable of handling complex incidents, implementing monitoring, and proposing solutions that address the root cause of the problem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Software Development: Advanced proficiency in Python or Node.js;

• Event Tracking: Experience with behavioral data ingestion tools (e.g., Snowplow, Segment, RudderStack, or proprietary solutions via SDKs);

• Messaging and Streaming: Mastery of event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS Kinesis;

• APIs and Microservices: Ability to build and maintain APIs for data collection from digital products;

• Integration with Analytics Tools: Experience in sending/processing data for platforms like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics 4;

• Knowledge of A/B Testing (infrastructure for experiment distribution);

• Front-end knowledge to support the implementation of tags and event triggers;
