Senior Data Engineer, DBT, Airflow, Snowflake

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Developing datasets and structures for consistency and ease of access,

• Creating and executing data transformations and data marts,

• Incorporating third-party systems and external data sources into the data warehouse,

• Constructing data flows for retrieval, aggregation, and data modeling utilizing batch pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data engineering,

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field,

• Proficient in both spoken and written English, with at least a C1 level,

• Significant professional experience with Python and SQL,

• Practical experience with DBT and Snowflake,

• Experience in developing data pipelines utilizing Airflow (DAGs),

• Proficiency in the AWS stack (S3),

• Strong grasp of various data modeling techniques, including Kimball Star Schema,

• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving,

• Creative problem-solving abilities,

• Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills.

• Additional points for:

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform,

• Solid understanding of Docker,

• DevOps expertise to automate deployment and enhance the development process.
