Senior Data Engineer – Databricks Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Development and upkeep of data pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, and quality assurance;

• Hands-on engagement with Databricks to construct and enhance pipelines;

• Data modeling at the conceptual, logical, and physical levels;

• Deployment activities in both QA and Production environments;

• Creation of scalable, automated, and dependable pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency with Databricks (mandatory);

• Background in Data Engineering;

• Familiarity with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake);

• Expertise in PySpark and/or Scala;

• Advanced knowledge of SQL;

• Understanding of data architecture concepts: Data Lake, Delta Lake, Lakehouse;

• Experience with Medallion architecture;

• Skills in performance and cost optimization.
