This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• You will join a team dedicated to assisting both new and existing customers with their data engineering requirements.
• Your role will involve guiding customers in making optimal technical choices to achieve their objectives.
• You will engage with multiple customer accounts, necessitating tracking and reporting on their progress.
• You will design, construct, and implement complex data solutions, troubleshoot issues, apply transformations, and suggest data cleansing and quality solutions.
• You will evaluate data sources to assess their value and recommend data for inclusion in analytical processes.
• You will integrate fundamental data management skills, encompassing data governance, data security, and data quality.
• You will collaborate within and between teams to facilitate delivery and educate end-users about data products and analytic environments.
• You will conduct data and system analysis, assess and resolve defects and incidents of moderate complexity, and correct as necessary.
• You will test data movement, transformation code, and data components.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering and data product development.
• Experience with one or more of the following:
• - Data Engineering technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
• - Databricks platform; experience in data engineering and/or ML ops is a significant advantage.
• - Data Science and Machine Learning technologies (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, HPO)
• - Data Warehousing (e.g., SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS)
• Strong grasp of the complete data analytics workflow.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, including debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership - Intermediate leadership abilities with a proven history of self-motivation in identifying personal growth opportunities.
• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills. Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience in the Financial Services industry, ideally within a banking environment.
• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of industry compliance requirements and standards, particularly in banking IT landscapes.
• Nice to have: Databricks Certification.
