Senior Data Engineer – Banking Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Address fraud on a daily basis by creating and implementing innovative security strategies.

• Develop and sustain efficient data pipelines to facilitate regulatory reporting for financial institutions.

• Collaborate with various teams including Fraud, Compliance, Security, and Technology.

• Produce clean, reusable, and well-documented code while performing comprehensive testing.

• Advocate for best practices in software development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of backend development experience using Python.

• Proficient in working within a JavaScript/TypeScript environment.

• Practical experience with cloud services such as AWS or GCP.

• Proven ability to build scalable, reliable, and adaptable data pipelines.

• Strong communication skills to effectively connect with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented and dedicated to delivering high-quality, impactful solutions.

• Bonus: Experience in highly regulated sectors like banking or insurance, as well as with fraud detection or recommendation systems.

• Proficient in English.
