Senior Data Engineer – AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• In our Transportation Unit, we are developing data-driven platforms utilizing AWS technologies.

• You will create robust and scalable data processes, from the initial design to production deployment.

• You will build modern Data Pipelines utilizing AWS technologies such as Glue, Batch, Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge.

• You will integrate streaming components like Kafka and MSK, ensuring that real-time data is utilized efficiently.

• Collaborating closely with our Platform Engineers and Architects, you will ensure that data solutions are implemented technically sound and sustainably.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have at least three years of professional experience in the data field and possess solid knowledge of AWS.

• You excel in Python skills and apply them proficiently in data processing and process automation.

• You are well-versed in ETL processes and Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform.

• You have a strong understanding of data architectures, data quality, and the stable operation of production systems.

• You are structured in your work and adopt a results-oriented approach with a high standard of quality.

• Teamwork and a service-oriented mindset are second nature to you, and you actively contribute to the team.

• You communicate confidently in both German and English, both in writing and in direct interaction.
