This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop and enhance data pipelines, integrate various information sources, and guarantee data availability and quality for both analytical and operational use.
• Build and sustain data pipelines utilizing AWS services, particularly AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, and Amazon S3.
• Design and execute ETL processes and facilitate data integration across different corporate systems.
• Aggregate data from multiple sources into centralized and scalable environments.
• Craft complex SQL queries for data transformation, modeling, and analysis purposes.
• Ensure data quality, performance, reliability, and adherence to data governance standards.
• Assist in efforts to transition data platforms to AWS.
• Engage in the evolution of cloud data architectures.
• Create and manage dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using data visualization tools.
• Monitor production environments, detect bottlenecks, and address incidents.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of development processes.
• Support initiatives in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Data Platform development.
• Proficiency in English.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Extensive experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong familiarity with AWS, particularly AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, and Amazon S3.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling and data integration techniques.
• Proven experience in developing ETL pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Experience in consolidating data from diverse sources.
• Background in complex corporate environments with large-volume datasets.
• Understanding of data architecture and analytics platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and capacity to resolve issues in production settings.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and business teams.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• AWS Certified Data Engineer (preferred).
• AWS Solutions Architect or Data Analytics certifications (preferred).
• Familiarity with Alteryx (preferred).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or ThoughtSpot (preferred).
• Knowledge of financial or insurance environments, or large organizations with a robust data culture (preferred).
• Participation in data migration projects to AWS (preferred).
• Understanding of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence (preferred).
• Experience with contemporary data and analytics ecosystems (preferred).
