Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Accountable for comprehending, preparing, transforming, loading, and validating data transitioned from the legacy system to the new model.

• Map out entities, fields, and relationships of the existing model, including user, subscription, dependent, and payment as applicable to the scope.

• Conduct AS IS → TO BE mapping, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and necessary rules for the new data model.

• Establish and implement processes for the extraction, cleansing, normalization, transformation, and loading of legacy Filó data.

• Develop import scripts, integrity controls, execution logs, volume validations, and data reconciliation.

• Assist in modeling the hierarchy of partners, companies, beneficiaries, dependents, offers, and subscriptions.

• Engage in cutover strategy, data freeze, migration window, and rollback planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer in migration, integration, or platform modernization projects.

• Proficient understanding of SQL, data modeling, data processing, data quality, and ETL/data ingestion pipelines.

• Experience in extraction through dumps, APIs, CSVs, or other data exchange formats.

• Familiarity with validation, reconciliation, logging, traceability, and integrity control in migration processes.

• Capable of collaborating with backend, architecture, and business teams to translate domain rules into data structures.

• Knowledge of GCP, Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, or similar tools.
