Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable data platforms and pipelines across various cloud environments (Azure/Fabric, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake)

• Develop dependable batch, streaming, and near-real-time data pipelines

• Ensure compliance with best practices regarding data governance, lineage, quality, and access control (RBAC/ABAC)

• Establish strong data observability, which includes monitoring data freshness and pipeline reliability

• Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to transform requirements into effective data solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Delta Lake

• Proficient programming skills in Python and SQL

• Experience in constructing batch and streaming data pipelines

• Understanding of data modeling, data quality, and governance principles

• Familiarity with one or more major cloud platforms, with a preference for Microsoft Azure / Fabric

• Knowledge of modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake

• Experience with lakehouse architectures and distributed data systems

• A collaborative mindset for working within cross-functional teams
