This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, construct, and sustain scalable data pipelines and ELT/ETL workflows.
• Develop and enhance data models and enterprise data structures for reporting, analytics, machine learning, and operational applications.
• Utilize Snowflake and contemporary cloud data platforms to ingest, transform, and optimize extensive datasets.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Data Science teams to deliver reliable, production-ready datasets.
• Create and implement data quality, validation, and monitoring processes.
• Support batch and near real-time data integration needs.
• Develop APIs and data services for both internal and customer-facing applications.
• Enhance data pipeline performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Document data architectures, pipeline processes, and engineering standards.
• Assess emerging technologies and suggest improvements for the data platform.
• Mentor team members and assist in establishing engineering best practices.
• Over 7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Extensive experience with modern cloud data platforms, ideally Snowflake.
• Strong expertise in Python and data engineering development methodologies.
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining large-scale ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed data architectures.
• Experience integrating structured and semi-structured data from various internal and external sources.
• Familiar with data orchestration and transformation frameworks.
• Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization abilities.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Capability to work independently while handling multiple initiatives.
• Candidate must reside within the Continental U.S.; preference for Eastern or Central time zones.
• Availability to support 8:30 AM–5:30 PM EST hours.
• Preferred: experience in the automotive industry data.
• Preferred: familiarity with dbt and modern analytics engineering workflows.
• Preferred: knowledge of streaming technologies and event-driven architectures.
• Preferred: experience supporting Business Intelligence, Data Science, and AI initiatives.
• Preferred: understanding of machine learning data pipelines and feature engineering concepts.
• Preferred: experience in a remote-first work environment.
