• Develop and expand our cutting-edge data platform.

• Collaborate closely under the mentorship of our Central Platform Team.

• Create our Databricks engineering framework.

• Establish reusable development patterns.

• Enhance our core codebase.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer or Data Platform Engineer utilizing Databricks.

• Strong expertise in PySpark, SQL, and Python within the Databricks environment.

• Practical experience with modern IDEs (such as VS Code) and version control systems (Git/GitHub).

• Familiarity or a keen interest in utilizing AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT for coding).

• Experience in implementing design patterns, reusable frameworks, and modularizing data pipelines.

• Excellent communication skills and the capability to work effectively in a collaborative, platform-oriented setting.

• Nice to Have: Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, or Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data engineering (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
