Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain Bronze/Silver layer data pipelines.

• Spearhead data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment processes.

• Create automated ingestion pipelines utilizing Snowpipe, Matillion, or comparable tools.

• Develop dbt models and guarantee data integrity.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure pipelines align with requirements.

• Address data quality issues as they arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in contemporary cloud data environments.

• At least 2 years of practical experience with Snowflake, focusing on performance tuning, Snowpipe, and Snowflake-specific optimization techniques.

• A minimum of 2 years working with dbt (Core or Cloud) in production settings, including the development of incremental models, testing, documentation, and package management.

• Proven experience with healthcare data, including knowledge of ICD-10, NPI, NDC codes, and claims data quality.

• Experience in production with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Strong Python skills for data processing and automation tasks.
