Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and enhance data pipelines and infrastructure utilizing ClickHouse, Postgres, Python, and dbt.

• Operate pipelines managing over 500 million labeled addresses, processing terabytes of both streaming and batch data on a daily basis.

• Collaborate with crypto researchers, software engineers, and product teams to influence data modeling, surfacing, and productization.

• Take ownership of data quality, reliability, and observability from start to finish.

• Guide and mentor fellow data engineers to elevate the technical capabilities of the team.

• Leverage AI tools and agents to enhance efficiency and minimize repetitive tasks.

• Begin as an individual contributor with a potential trajectory to Engineering Manager within 12–18 months for the right candidate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced in deploying and scaling high-performance data systems in production environments.

• Profound knowledge in SQL and Python.

• Practical experience with dbt, ClickHouse, and Postgres.

• Comprehensive understanding of streaming data architectures and operations at significant scale.

• Background in ingestion, transformation, storage, modeling, and data serving.

• Familiarity with Cursor, Claude Code, and MCPs.

• Strong written communication skills suitable for remote, asynchronous collaboration.

• Bonus: Experience in project leadership or management roles.

• Bonus: Proficiency in on-chain data structures, Web3 technologies, and cryptocurrency markets.
