Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement cloud-based data solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

• Develop and uphold data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses or data lakes.

• Ensure data quality and validation processes to uphold the accuracy and integrity of data.

• Optimize data storage and retrieval for enhanced performance.

• Work collaboratively with data teams, product owners, and various stakeholders.

• Establish and lead a team of data engineers to guarantee timely deliverables that meet all data engineering guidelines and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with cloud technologies.

• Programming expertise in Python.

• Database knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, Postgres SQL, and Big Query.

• ETL & Integration experience with AecorSoft / Datasphere, DBT, Databricks (Optional).

• Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, including SCD Types, Fact & Dimensions, and Star Schema.

• Familiarity with Data Modeling tools like Erwin (Optional).

• Knowledge of Medallion Architecture: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.

• Experience with GCP Cloud Services including Big Query, GCS, Cloud Function/Run, and GKE.

• Familiarity with supporting technologies such as Airflow (Composer) and Automic.

• Visualization skills in PowerBI (Optional) and Tableau (Optional).
