Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance Keedian’s analytical platform and multi-tenant data lake architecture.

• Create and sustain scalable ingestion pipelines from operational systems, APIs, IoT devices, and telemetry sources.

• Develop and take ownership of analytical models, semantic layers, dashboards, and operational reporting.

• Ensure data quality, lineage, observability, freshness, scalability, and reliability throughout the platform.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to guarantee systems and events are ready for analytics.

• Establish the data foundation for predictive maintenance, operational intelligence, anomaly detection, and AI-driven optimization.

• Assist in defining and measuring customer impact through ROI, savings, and operational performance metrics.

• Contribute to architectural decisions, documentation, governance, and the advancement of Keedian’s modern data stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.

• Proven experience in building data platforms from start to finish.

• Familiarity with telemetry, time-series, or large-scale operational data.

• Experience with cloud architectures and multi-tenant environments.

• Proficient in advanced SQL.

• Knowledge of Python for data engineering tasks.

• Experience with AWS and modern data lake/lakehouse architectures.

• Proficient in dbt or similar transformation/modeling tools.

• Skilled in workflow orchestration and pipeline management.

• Experience in streaming and large-scale data processing.

• Knowledge of data quality, observability, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish.
