Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create scalable data architectures and oversee business-critical data pipelines.

• Actively influence the utilization of data throughout the organization.

• Design, implement, and enhance high-performance data pipelines.

• Strategically advance our data architecture while ensuring it remains scalable and maintainable.

• Serve as a liaison, collaborating closely with business units and other affiliated organizations.

• Assume technical ownership of our data ecosystem.

• Assess and selectively integrate new technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in data engineering, with strong skills in SQL, Python, and contemporary data platforms.

• Experience in developing and managing ETL/ELT processes.

• Capability to efficiently process large data volumes.

• Proficient in scalable data architectures (e.g., Data Lake, Data Warehouse) and data modeling.

• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably with a focus on Azure.

• Good understanding of current AWS configurations.

• Strong commitment to clean, stable, and maintainable data solutions.

• Structured and self-directed work style, maintaining high-quality standards in daily tasks.

• Proficient in German and competent in English.
