Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Integration and modeling of data.

• Design and implement ingestion and transformation pipelines for new data sources (batch and/or near real-time).

• Integrate internal and external sources into the Customer 360 model, ensuring consistency with defined contexts.

• Model and structure data for use in APIs and analytics.

• Build and maintain analytical sub-products based on contexts (e.g., segmentations, features, models).

• Enable datasets ready for consumption by business, analytics, and data science teams.

• Collaborate in defining new use cases based on customer data.

• Implement quality controls, validations, and monitoring of pipelines.

• Ensure traceability, documentation, and adherence to data governance best practices.

• Optimize pipelines for performance, cost, and scalability.

• Work closely with business, analytics, backend, and product teams.

• Participate in the design of new contexts and the definition of data requirements.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's architecture and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced Python & SQL skills.

• GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub) is mandatory.

• Understanding of analytics concepts - Data Analytics with tools like Looker.

• General knowledge of AI concepts.

• Understanding of agile principles and practices - Scrum.

• Familiarity with Product Mindset and Product Management.

• Terraform (IaC) to deploy and scale cloud resources securely and reproducibly.
