Senior Data Engineer

⛳️ Requirements

• Work collaboratively with team members to collect business requirements and design data models.

• Foster trust in all engagements and provide the company with the most comprehensive, reliable, and precise data.

• Design, develop, and enhance ETL code and data pipelines to expand the Enterprise Data Lake.

• Generate and maintain architecture and system documentation.

• Ensure that core datasets or data products are current in the Data Catalog to facilitate self-service analytics and maintain a single source of truth.

• Write code that adheres to our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices in a high-scale data environment, while promoting these standards through code reviews.

• Authorize modifications to data models as a Data Team Reviewer and take responsibility for specific datasets and data model schemas.

• Share knowledge in data modeling and transformations across iFood teams through code reviews, pairing, and training to aid in delivering optimized and scalable dataset or data product designs and queries on Databricks.

• 2+ years of experience in Data roles as an analyst, engineer, or in a comparable position.

• 2+ years of experience in designing, implementing, operating, and extending enterprise data models (dimensional or otherwise).

• 2+ years of experience with large-scale databases or data warehouses, preferably within a cloud environment.

• Technical proficiency in English.

• Nice to have: Experience with Databricks, Airflow, and AWS.
