Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance the architecture of the data platform and storage systems.

• Develop reliable ETL/ELT processes and create scalable data pipelines for efficiently delivering data into a centralized analytical warehouse.

• Maintain and further enhance the Data Warehouse.

• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams regarding system design and architectural choices.

• Ensure data governance while upholding high standards of data quality.

• Write and optimize queries for MongoDB and ClickHouse.

• Manage and oversee workflows in Airflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

• More than 5 years of experience with Python, TypeScript, Node.js, and Kafka.

• Strong grasp of data processing algorithms and principles.

• Practical experience with ClickHouse, Airflow, Amazon S3, Git, and Docker.

• Comprehensive understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.

• Experience with large-scale data and query optimization.

• Capability to work collaboratively towards common objectives.

• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative.

• Proficiency in English at level B1 or above.
