Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance the architecture of the data platform and storage systems.

• Create dependable ETL/ELT processes and develop scalable data pipelines for the delivery of data into a centralized analytical warehouse.

• Maintain and further advance the Data Warehouse.

• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams on system design and architectural choices.

• Ensure data governance and uphold high standards of data quality.

• Write and optimize queries for MongoDB and ClickHouse.

• Manage and sustain workflows in Airflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer.

• More than 5 years of experience with Python, TypeScript, Node.js, and Kafka.

• Strong grasp of data processing algorithms and principles.

• Practical experience with ClickHouse, Airflow, Amazon S3, Git, and Docker.

• Comprehensive understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.

• Experience in handling large-scale data and optimizing queries.

• Ability to work collaboratively towards common objectives.

• A strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and initiative.

• English proficiency: B1 or higher.
