Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Work in partnership with Data Science, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to develop robust ETL pipelines that empower the Product Support team to provide engaging user-facing features.

• Participate in architectural decisions, observability tools, and data quality initiatives that ensure our platform remains strong and maintainable.

• Assist in creating a scalable internal framework for managing prompt engineering pipelines and various AI workflows.

• Promote and enhance engineering best practices throughout the AI/ML organization, encompassing code quality, testing, and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or similar roles with an emphasis on data infrastructure.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines (e.g., utilizing Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect).

• Familiarity with software development practices such as version control, CI/CD, or dbt testing methodologies.

• Strong command of SQL and Python, with additional experience in Typescript (or similar) being a plus.

• Comfortable with version control, CI/CD systems, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Terraform).

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to comprehend their data requirements.

• Proven history of designing impactful data products and pipelines in dynamic environments.
