Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance data solutions within intricate enterprise settings;

• Engage in establishing architectures, processes, and best practices pertinent to data engineering;

• Guarantee the quality of outputs by formulating and implementing testing strategies;

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams leveraging agile methodologies;

• Conduct analysis, monitoring, and optimization of processes, ensuring the performance, stability, and scalability of solutions;

• Assist in identifying and resolving incidents while actively contributing to ongoing process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with the complete testing lifecycle: planning, analysis, modeling, implementation, monitoring, execution, and closure;

• Proficient in various testing types, including functional, non-functional, regression, unit, load, stress, performance, usability, and API testing;

• Proven experience in test automation utilizing tools like Cucumber, Appium, JUnit, Protractor, SpecFlow, and Hiptest;

• Understanding of BDD methodologies and scenario writing using Gherkin;

• Familiarity with test and defect management tools such as Jira, Mantis, Bugzilla, TestRail, and TestLink;

• Experience in API testing with SoapUI;

• Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter;

• Awareness of CI/CD processes and Azure environments;

• Proficient in JavaScript (JS);

• Familiar with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum;

• Knowledge of process mapping and visual modeling using Miro, Mural, XMind, MindMeister, and mind-mapping techniques;

• Experience with localhost environments and validating distributed applications.
