This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

• Contribute to the design of scalable and secure data solutions that align with both business and technical requirements.

• Develop and enhance ETL/ELT pipelines to efficiently ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.

• Analyze both structured and unstructured data sources, recommending strategies for ingestion, processing, and classification.

• Assist in the creation of a robust data layer that supports both batch and real-time processing.

• Implement strategies for data validation and cleansing to ensure quality and compliance with governance standards.

• Write and optimize SQL queries for processing large datasets.

• Facilitate migrations from legacy systems to cloud platforms, ensuring accuracy and minimal downtime.

• Monitor data workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose enhancements.

• Collaborate with analysts, scientists, and business teams to convert requirements into effective data models.

• Apply best practices in data governance and security, including adherence to regulatory compliance such as GDPR.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging tools and methodologies, contributing to the team's innovative efforts.

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering or similar positions.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and query optimization techniques.

• Practical experience with ETL/ELT tools and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

• Solid grasp of both batch and real-time data processing concepts.
