This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

• Conduct technical analysis and document intricate data flows and system architectures within a payments processing context.

• Create and maintain data mappings between source and target systems in distributed Big Data environments.

• Collaborate closely with business and IT teams for requirements gathering and implementation processes.

• Develop and optimize data pipelines utilizing Spark-Scala and SQL on the Google Cloud Platform.

• Model and implement Dataform transformations for integration into existing cloud architectures.

• Manage and monitor batch processes through automation tools (UC4).

• Independently carry out testing and quality assurance activities.

• Prepare status reports and present results to stakeholders.

• Actively participate in agile team ceremonies and Scrum processes.

• A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst or Data Mapper, preferably within a major banking institution.

• Strong expertise in technical analysis and design of data solutions.

• Extensive knowledge of payments and transaction processing.

• Profound understanding of distributed system architectures and Big Data environments (Hadoop).

• Significant hands-on experience with Spark-Scala and SQL.

• Solid familiarity with cloud technologies, preferably GCP and Dataform.

• Experience with automation tools such as UC4 is a plus.

• Background in test execution and quality assurance.

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken); basic German language skills are advantageous.

• Strong communication abilities, assertiveness, and a capacity for independent work.
