Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance scalable data pipelines utilizing Python and dbt to facilitate effective data transformation and integration.

• Design and manage database tables, Snowflake structures, and data models to cater to reporting and analytical requirements.

• Develop resilient ETL/ELT workflows for the extraction, transformation, and loading of data while ensuring data quality and consistency.

• Enhance the reliability of pipelines through monitoring, observability, and proactive resolution of issues.

• Generate dashboards and deliver updates that foster actionable insights and support business decision-making.

• Collaborate across various functions to align on requirements, communicate progress, and maintain transparency across projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in querying, transforming, validating, and optimizing data using SQL for analytics, reporting, and pipeline operations.

• Experience in constructing scalable data pipelines, automation scripts, and data processing workflows using Python.

• Practical experience in designing and overseeing cloud data warehouse structures, tables, and efficient data models in Snowflake.

• Familiarity with developing modular data transformations, testing, and documentation using dbt within contemporary ELT workflows.

• Knowledge of AWS cloud services that support scalable data storage, processing, and pipeline orchestration.

• Demonstrated experience in constructing reliable ETL/ELT workflows for extracting, transforming, loading, and validating data from various sources.

• Capability to monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot workflow challenges, and proactively enhance reliability and data quality.
