Senior Data Engineer – AI, Agentic Pipelines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Foster Innovation by investigating and implementing the most recent AWS and big data technologies.

• Collaborate Across Departments with Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and Data Scientists.

• Influence Platform Strategy by participating in the Data Platform vision and roadmap.

• Maintain Data Integrity by exemplifying outstanding work ethics and integrity.

• Design Agentic Pipelines for Analytics through the creation of multi-agent workflows.

• Facilitate AI-Driven Data Products by promoting the use of LLM-enhanced data capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a senior data engineer.

• Extensive experience with hybrid Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.

• Demonstrated expertise with analytical cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake).

• Practical experience with AI coding assistants and agentic workflow automation.

• Ability to utilize LLMs with contextual data effectively.

• Defines specifications and acceptance criteria for autonomous agents.

• Strong foundation in engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
