This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Define and execute the organization's data architecture, models, and pipelines.
• Design integration solutions between internal platforms and external systems (Salesforce, customer experience platforms, etc.).
• Establish benchmarks for data quality, metadata, lineage, and classification.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance teams to ensure alignment on privacy, retention, and access control policies.
• Lead the selection and implementation of data platforms.
• Promote the adoption of data best practices throughout teams and assist in data governance initiatives.
• Support data risk assessments, vendor onboarding, and audit preparedness from a technical perspective.
• Maintain the performance of data platforms and architecture.
• Assist with existing data workflows and integrations.
• Address data-related incidents and ensure data reliability.
• Enhance data models to facilitate business growth and analytics.
• Optimize data pipelines, quality, and availability.
• Expand self-service data capabilities for stakeholders.
• Define future-state architecture to foster digital transformation.
• Lead the data strategy to support AI/ML, automation, and advanced analytics.
• Integrate data across new platforms, partners, or business models.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data management.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Extensive hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake).
• Strong practical experience in AWS data engineering services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda).
• Familiarity with privacy and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
• Solid understanding of data modeling (OLTP/OLAP), APIs, and system integration.
• Demonstrated experience in owning or leading enterprise data architecture (beyond pipeline development or BI).
• Leadership skills within a cross-functional setting.
• Experience supporting analytics, AI/ML applications, and large-scale data warehousing.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Experience with data governance concepts (quality, lineage, metadata, classification).
• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
