Senior Data Architect – Common Data Model, Metadata Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead the assessment of existing metadata systems and pinpoint gaps.

• Design and construct a unified metamodel along with an enterprise data model.

• Develop and improve the metadata utility platform.

• Integrate various data formats and systems into a cohesive model.

• Generate a data dictionary and standardize data definitions.

• Drive the architecture for future enhancements and development.

• Support testing, validation, and deployment into production.

• Oversee the CI/CD setup and manage system environments.

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and maintain documentation.

• Collaborate with the program manager and stakeholders regarding priorities and delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in building common metamodels across various systems.

• 3+ years in data modeling, integration specifications, and governance.

• 2+ years of experience with Python, Java, or TCL.

• 2+ years of experience with RDF and SPARQL.

• Strong background in working with structured and semi-structured data formats.

• Proven experience in delivering enterprise data platforms from start to finish.

• Experience in large-scale data integration projects.
