This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.
• Establish and uphold standards for enterprise data architecture across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data domains.
• Leverage AI-assisted modeling tools to expedite data model design and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Architect and oversee the organization's cloud data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse infrastructures on AWS.
• Create standards for data ontology, taxonomy, and semantic layers that empower AI systems to accurately interpret organizational data.
• Assess emerging data architecture trends and formulate a roadmap for their implementation across Stellus Rx.
• Develop scalable data models and ELT/ETL pipeline architectures that facilitate analytics and AI/ML workloads.
• Establish standards for data partitioning, indexing, caching, and storage optimization.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to convert architectural blueprints into production-ready pipelines.
• Define and implement data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and data contracts across the organization.
• Design and execute a master data management (MDM) strategy.
• Over 7 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• More than 3 years of experience in designing enterprise-scale data platforms within cloud environments (AWS is strongly preferred).
• Proven hands-on experience utilizing AI tools to enhance data architecture design, automate data quality, or support AI/ML workloads.
• Extensive expertise in data modeling methodologies including dimensional modeling, data vault, and lakehouse patterns.
• Solid knowledge of ELT/ETL pipeline architecture and workflow orchestration (Airflow or similar tools).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, or their equivalents.
• Proficient in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python is preferred).
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases; knowledge of vector databases is a plus.
• Strong comprehension of data governance, data quality frameworks, and MDM principles.
• Understanding of healthcare data compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex architectural ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative area.
• High proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
