This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take advantage of the chance to create a meaningful impact by supporting the Case Management Modernization (CMM) Program.

• Deliver an integrated approach to data governance, engineering, data platforms, reporting, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) capabilities that aid in operational decision-making and meet AO's data and analytics goals in the context of the CMM program.

• Act as the primary architect, engineer, and operator for all data infrastructure associated with the CMM program.

• Responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and ongoing enhancement of cloud-based data platforms and pipelines that cover the entire technical data lifecycle—comprising ingestion, storage, transformation, integration, migration, archival, and continual operations.

• Ensure that all solutions are in accordance with government-mandated CI/CD processes and adhere to federal security, privacy, and data protection standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience.

• MA/MS degree with 12+ years of overall experience in information systems and 10+ years of specialized expertise.

• Extensive experience in designing data architecture utilizing AWS data services and contemporary application patterns.

• Define scalable and secure operational data models and patterns that support application features and service integrations.

• Establish and uphold operational data governance protocols, including integrity controls, cost efficiency, and resilience.

• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL data modeling for transaction-intensive, high-availability systems.

• Significant experience in architecting enterprise data platforms that facilitate analytics and reporting at scale.

• Experience in modernizing legacy data systems and spearheading cloud migration strategies.

• Strong understanding of MDM, data governance integration, and change data capture methodologies.

• Familiarity with implementing data lakes, data warehouses, and CDC-enabled ingestion patterns.
