This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and uphold the vision, blueprint, and roadmap for the enterprise data architecture, ensuring it aligns with Catalight's organizational strategy and technology landscape.
• Create scalable, secure, and high-performance data models, data flows, and integration patterns across various source systems, data platforms, and consumption layers.
• Set architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices for data storage, integration, and consumption within AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Lead the design and continuous improvement of Catalight's Snowflake data warehouse architecture, ensuring it meets both current and future business intelligence and AI/ML requirements.
• Assess and recommend new data technologies, tools, and platforms to keep Catalight's data ecosystem up to date.
• Collaborate closely with the Data Governance Manager to create and enforce enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards suitable for a healthcare data setting.
• Design and oversee data architecture that facilitates AI/ML application development, model training, and deployment pipelines.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Architecture, or a related area is preferred; alternatively, 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a comparable discipline may substitute for a degree.
• Proven expertise in enterprise data architecture, encompassing data modeling, data integration design, and data governance frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with advanced data modeling techniques.
• Practical experience in designing and managing Snowflake data warehouse architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Demonstrated capability to design data systems that support business intelligence and reporting platforms, including Tableau.
• Experience in creating data systems for healthcare or other regulated data environments, with an understanding of HIPAA and data privacy regulations.
• Proven ability to articulate complex architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in architecting data solutions to support AI/ML applications, including feature stores, ML pipelines, and model operationalization.
