Senior Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Deliver data analytic assistance, documenting the designated data steward and pertinent data domain for each data asset recorded in the CSD Data Catalog.

• Aid in the Data Maturity Assessment initiatives.

• Generate necessary deliverables as required.

• Assist in integrating Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Data Assets into the Data Catalog.

• Facilitate the adoption of Alation as the CSD Data Catalog while phasing out the CSD Data Catalog on SharePoint.

• Monitor progress and status reporting for AOPs, CTIP, and OTD Internal Milestones.

• Contribute to attaining cloud storage planning and analytic goals.

• Execute initiative project management, milestone tracking, Jira, stakeholder engagement, and communication efforts.

• Oversee the CSD Data Management Structure Board.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7 (+) years of experience along with a BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Knowledge of common architecture/governance artifacts, encompassing data standards, data management and governance white papers, data inventories/catalogs, and data maturity assessments.

• Acquainted with Databricks and its data management and governance functionalities.

• Proven experience in documenting data processes and workflows, schemas, and data management guidelines.

• Strong familiarity with governmental processes.

• Background in cybersecurity.

• Comprehensive understanding of cyber programs.

• Capability to work autonomously and deliver relevant and effective solutions.

• DHS Suitability Required.
