This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build and sustain robust, scalable data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from diverse sources into our data warehouse.
• Create, develop, and enhance data models to meet analytical demands and reporting specifications.
• Collaborate with data scientists to implement and deploy machine learning models and analytical solutions.
• Oversee data quality and detect and resolve data integrity concerns.
• Contribute to the creation of data documentation and metadata management practices.
• Engage with stakeholders to comprehend their data requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Support the assessment and integration of new data technologies and tools.
• Take part in code reviews and aid in establishing coding standards and best practices.
• Independently oversee assigned tasks and projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
• Actively seek opportunities to enhance data processes and systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a comparable position.
• Strong command of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and associated data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Knowledge of data testing frameworks.
• Experience with ETL tools and methodologies (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt).
• Comprehensive understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehouse architecture.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java).
• Skilled in using Git for version control and collaborative work on the codebase.
