Junior Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate data from various source systems into PostgreSQL and BigQuery.

• You will ensure data integrity through automated sanity checks, reconciliation processes, and thorough debugging across our data pipelines.

• You will contribute to the enhancement of our web tracking and analytics infrastructure, guaranteeing that data is both reliable and readily accessible.

• You will develop Python and/or R scripts, including those for Google Ad Manager, operational automations, and internal data processes.

• You will assist in managing our job portal, ensuring that data feeds, interfaces, and workflows remain stable and efficient.

• You will produce analyses and dashboards that are utilized directly by teams such as Sales, Finance, and Product to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• You hold a completed degree or are nearing graduation in fields such as Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related discipline.

• You are either an entry-level candidate or a recent graduate, or possess initial practical experience through internships, student roles, or personal projects.

• You have a solid understanding of R and/or Python, along with strong SQL skills, preferably with PostgreSQL.

• You possess a basic understanding of ETL processes, database structures, and clean schema design, and ideally have experience with Git/GitHub.

• Familiarity with R Shiny, REST API integrations, BigQuery, GA4, Google Ad Manager, or Metabase is advantageous but not mandatory.

• You approach problem-solving methodically, are comfortable working in code editors, spreadsheets, and dashboards, and communicate effectively — including with non-technical stakeholders.

• You have excellent German language proficiency, both written and spoken, ideally at C2 level.
