Senior Data Analyst, Trading

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Engage in all facets of data, encompassing engineering, advanced visualizations, machine learning models, and experimental analysis to support the Trading division.

• Examine and interpret PB-scale transactional, operational, and customer data utilizing both proprietary and open-source data tools, platforms, and analytical frameworks.

• Convert intricate findings into straightforward visualizations and actionable recommendations for trading teams, operational teams, and executives.

• Collaborate with trading, operations, and product teams to transform large-scale data into insights that facilitate rapid, high-stakes decision-making.

• Thrive in a fast-paced industry and organization where timely market responses are imperative.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences.

• Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in an Analytics or Data Science position.

• Extensive experience in trading/financial derivatives (mandatory requirement).

• A strong curiosity to discover, investigate, and articulate trends and patterns within data.

• Capability to simplify complex concepts and technical findings into clear, understandable language.

• Previous experience in internal/client-facing consulting or business transformation is preferred.

• A keen interest in emerging technologies related to Blockchain, Machine Learning, and AI.

• Proficiency in two or more of the following: analytical software such as R or SAS; data visualization tools like QlikView, Tableau, or Power BI; relational or graph database management systems such as SQL, NoSQL, or Neo4J; programming languages such as VBA, C++, Java, or Python.
